Using the foundational principles of the Gonstead system of subluxation analysis combined with orthodox techniques of neurological assessment together with the toggle recoil and Logan Basic systems of adjusting, NIP was born.
This is a system of spinal evaluation combined with a handheld adjusting instrument that delivers a consistent, low-force thrust.
Not only is your skull made up of many bones, their ability to move can profoundly affect your health which is why we rely on this powerful technique..
After identifying which vertebrae have lost their normal motion or position, a specific manual thrust is applied to free up “stuck” spinal joints.
NSA is a unique evidence-based chiropractic technique that promotes wellness and body awareness. Gentle touches or adjustments along the spine cue the body to move into a state of ease by connecting and releasing stored tension held in the nervous system, muscles and bones.

Sacro Occipital Technique helps normalize the relationship between the pelvis and the head, using gravity to make the necessary correction.
Thompson Terminal Point technique is a system of analysis and a special table that reduces the amount of energy needed to adjust your spine.
B.E.S.T. is a non-forceful, energy balancing hands on procedure used to help re-establish the full healing potential of the body. Understanding the body makes no mistakes regarding health and longevity, B.E.S.T. principles acknowledge the concept of Interference we create with our conscious mind. This Interference caused imbalance in the autonomic nervous system leading to exhaustion of our organ systems over time. Researched at major universities, taught in several Chiropractic Colleges and in professional continuing education seminars, B.E.S.T. is recognized as an effective healing science.
While lying on your side, we’ll use our hands to deliver a quick contact to the upper bones of your spine. Your body does the rest..

Wellness Techniques and Naturopathy

This is a unique technique with profound effects on people with both acute and chronic issues. Also known as Neurolink, the technique is able to detect and help the body eliminate bacteria, parasites, fungus and virus’ from within the system that may be hindering an individual’s healing and general vitality.

This safe, non-invasive, and non-manipulative approach is appropriate for all ages and for those who are very sick or injured (www.neurolinkglobal.com)
The Bowen Technique is a remedial, hands-on therapy that is applied using very gentle pressure. The practitioner uses thumbs and fingers on precise points of the body to perform Bowen’s unique sets of rolling-type moves which stimulate the muscles and soft tissue of the body. There is no manipulation or adjustment of hard tissue and no force is used.

The experience of a treatment is gentle, subtle and relaxing. It is believed that the Bowen Technique prompts the body to reset, repair and balance itself and clients report the experience of pain relief, improvement of function and recovery of energy.
The Emmett Technique is a unique form of body therapy. It involves the application of light finger pressure at specific points, referred to as “Emmett points”.

The points are not the same as traditional trigger points or acupressure points or any other points described in any other therapy.

The pressure required to stimulate the EMMETT points does not need to be firm or painful. “No pain no gain” has no place in EMMETT Technique philosophy.

The EMMETT Therapist is skilled in the art of applying the right amount of pressure, in the right direction, for the right amount of time. It is this combination of elements, unique to each individual, which creates the desired physical change. Although often combined with other techniques, the EMMETT Technique is an efficient and effective therapy on its own.

Naturopathic medicine is a system of healing, which seeks to promote health by stimulating and supporting the body’s inherent power to regain harmony and balance. Naturopaths recognise that everyone is unique and that the approach to gaining and maintaining health be tailored to meet individuals’ needs.

Naturopathy is not a single therapy but a wide spectrum of approved natural practices that include nutrition, herbal medicine, homeopathy, flower remedies, massage and iridology.

The Naturopath helps patients in two ways. Firstly by assisting patients to understand fundamental basics of achieving health in relation to nutrition, exercise, rest and lifestyle choices. Secondly using natural therapies, to increase the vitality of the individual and remove any obstacles to cure, chemical, physical or psychological which may be interfering with normal functioning and internal harmony of the organs or tissues.

The benefits of a combined approach -  A naturopath is trained in modalities that include health sciences, clinical nutrition, herbal medicine, homoeopathy, flower remedies and body work therapies. Although individual therapies are excellent on their own, a combined approach offers a more rounded solution in regaining health and vitality.
Naturopathy is effective for both chronic and acute problems including preconception, pregnancy and post natal care, childhood illnesses, hormonal imbalances, menopause, PMS, skin complaints, digestive complaints, adrenal exhaustion, stress, fatigue, sleep problems, weight loss, detoxification, colds, flu, allergies, pain, emotional dis-ease or to gain dietary and lifestyle advice or just improving well being. Naturopathy can also play a very useful role in supporting or increasing the benefits of orthodox medical treatment.

Naturopathy also focuses on preventative health and education.
