Meet Our Team
Dr Helen Jones Doctor of Chiropractic BSc(Hons) Chiro, BA(Hons) FA
My Chiropractic journey started at 18 years of age when I experienced a prolapsed disc in my low back. The radiating sciatic pain into my left leg was debilitating. The intensity of pain on sitting, lying, walking, turning over in bed were my reason for finding someone who could help. There was talk of surgery, but I was not convinced.
After 6 months of intense pain, searching for relief, somebody suggested going to see a Chiropractor – and from that date on my life changed.
Within 6 weeks of regular Chiropractic care I was pain-free, educated on exactly why I had been experiencing the pain and fascinated by the body and the nervous system. Unbeknowingly, my back injury was later to lead onto my future career, business and passion.
What is the lesson in your pain? What is your body telling you?
In 2006 I graduated with a first class honours degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic. My first job was with the Chiropractor who had inspired me at 18 years of age, but for over 7 years now I have been part of the Westcountry Family Chiropractic team in Redruth. I am still practicing there as I have love every moment of my time there.
I recently decided it was time for me to spread my wings and am now both director of Jubilee Well-Being & Chiropractic and joint director and one of the two resident Chiropractors at TLC, The Leven Chiropractors, Porthleven.
My journey to this point in time has allowed me to grow and mature engaging health and well-being from an ‘eat well, think well, move well’, paradigm.
Jubilee Well-being is my vision of a Chiropractic centre. I believe so strongly in the need for Chiropractic and Wellness care that I have opened this centre so that we may reach more people and change the health of our society.
Chiropractic is about educating. Itʼs about identifying stressors in our life and about healing from above, down, inside and out. It is a gentle, drug free approach to bringing your body back to a state of ease and has the potential to optimize your health.
Over the last few years my work has taken me to Peru and as a consequence of this trip I wrote a Childrenʼs Chiropractic Story – ʻPoco – A Chiropractic Storyʼ as a way of spreading the Chiropractic message. Chiropractic and Wellness care has the potential to be life-changing.
I am proud to be a Chiropractor. I am congruent with Chiropractic care from a vitalistic approach - a conglomeration of adapting lifestyle, embracing life, taking responsibility for one’s own health from Above Down Inside Out.
Complementing Chiropractic care, I also practise Neural Integration System which is a unique technique with profound affects on people with both acute and chronic issues. Also known as Neurolink, the technique is able to detect and help the body eliminate bacteria, parasites, fungus and virus’ from within the system that may be hindering an individual’s healing and general vitality. This safe, non-invasive, and non-manipulative approach is appropriate for all ages and for those who are very sick or injured (www.neurolinkglobal.com)
Amy Pease Chiropractor
I’ve been lucky enough to grow up in Cornwall surrounded by natural healthcare, and all of my family members at some point have found themselves in front of a chiropractor. For my brother, it was after being bundled in the park; I remember watching him receive his first adjustment and the expression of relief on his face when he was able to move his neck freely again.
For me it was a nasty fall at school which brought me to seeing a chiropractor at the tender age of 13. I was overwhelmed by the valuable advice and reassurance provided, not to mention the gentle and specific adjustments to help my body heal. Quite remarkably after a few adjustments I was feeling better than before the fall and had a new awareness of my strength, balance, and posture and that was when I thought Chiropractic is pretty cool!
Taking the time to talk to my patients about their personal goals is also something that’s very important to me. I believe that we all have the right to a healthy spine and nervous system, and to be treated with kindness and understanding. When I’m not adjusting my patients, I love to practice yoga, hit the gym, or hang out with my fantastic family and friends, and of course take a stroll along my favourite Cornish beaches (whatever the weather!). If you’re interested in what Chiropractic can do for you, I’d love to have a chat about your options and answer any questions you may have.

I am very excited to be joining the wonderful and very clever team at Jubilee Well-Being and Chiropractic Centre.
I will be working on Wednesdays from 1pm to 7pm.
My journey with natural medicine first started in France when I was 13 years old on a French exchange. Having suffered from debilitating hay-fever all through my childhood and been given nasal sprays and anti histamines with no relief, I was suddenly being taken to a homeopath who gave me a remedy and then no hay-fever. I then continued to discover the power of natural remedies from essential oils to help sleep and exam stress to herbal remedies for digestive discomforts and skin problems. My fascination with the healing power of nature has not stopped.
My formal training finished after 5 years in Australia 2005 and was very extensive including a Health Science degree and qualifications in Naturopathic Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Homeopathy, Flower Remedies, Iridology and Sports and Remedial Massage.
I have had many hours and years now in clinical practice and am very passionate about natural health and being well. Restoring and preserving health is my passion. My approach to well being is holistic through mind, body and spirit. Our bodies are created to heal and repair themselves when properly nourished and supported. Great health can be achieved at any age.
Jodi Skillen Doctor of Chiropractic
From July 2018 I am relocating to Cornwall with my family to become part of the Jubilee Well team. After an initial career with the military I developed an interest in holistic therapies and then in 2005 I began studying at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic.
Since graduating I have worked in clinics in South Wales, Oxford and London before becoming the principal Chiropractor in my own clinic in Leicester. There my goal has been to create a friendly, caring environment for patients, fulfilling and exceeding their expectations.
I have worked in recent years with Olympic standard athletes, and was the Doctor of Chiropractic in the support team for ‘Six Ordinary Men’, a team preparing for a North Pole expedition.
I am now a mum and have found in my time as a Chiropractor I have adjusted and cared for lots of mums-to-be understanding the ‘pregnant pelvis’ and other pregnancy related issues. I firmly believe that my skills and holistic approach to the care of patients at Jubilee Well-Being & chiropractic Clinic will complement those of the team I am so happy to be joining.
